Reimagined Dark Moody Wood Cabinet

This little weathered cabinet has been one of my favourite upcycling projects. I’ve taken a bright and shiny commercial wood cabinet and given it a new life as this moody Gothic or Halloween display piece. Now the piece boasts a worn looking patina in a mix of soft blacks and chalky whites, layered until it looks like it’s been around for years. I’ve added raised detailing along the sides, giving it an old world gothic feel and the front doors have aged skull motifs that give it just the right touch of character without going over the top. Now it’s perfect for tiny treasures, Halloween bits or maybe one of my build-a-box displays!

This is a piece of art intended for collectors. Please note it is handcrafted and may contain intentional or unintentional faults and defects, creating a piece that’s perfectly imperfect! 

 Please be aware I do use natural products in many of my pieces, which may include, but are not limited to, moss, flowers, leaves, branches, seeds or pods, and what some might consider weeds.

Not intended for children!

My pieces are not toys to be played with by children due to the very small size. All of the pieces/parts of my art are very, very small; they could be a choking hazard. It should not be handled by children or displayed where children or animals have access to it. I create adult collector’s pieces and should be handled in a responsible manner by the collector.
