I want your experience with Miniature Mirth to be as delightful as the tiny treasures you receive. Below you’ll find all the details about shipping, delivery, and returns.
Processing & Delivery Times
Please note that order processing and shipping times are two separate things. I aim to pack and dispatch orders as quickly as possible, but as a one-person studio, it may take up to 7 business days to process your order—especially during busy periods. I appreciate your patience and understanding.
Once your parcel is handed over to Royal Mail, delivery times are out of my control. Royal Mail typically dispatches Monday to Friday, though weekend service may vary depending on your local post office.
International Shipping & Costs
Shipping is figured using Royal Mail https://send.royalmail.com/send/
My items will only ship as “small parcel” unless otherwise noted. Overpayment of above postage cost is refunded once the parcel is shipped.
Shipping costs outside the UK can vary quite a bit. To check out immediately, please select the rate for your general region. If you’d prefer a tailored quote, feel free to reach out via the Contact Page with your shipping address.
Please note: all import duties, taxes, and tariffs are the buyer’s responsibility. These fees are set by your country’s customs authorities, and I’m unable to cover or contribute to them.
**As of 29th August 2025, the United States has introduced a new 10% blanket tariff on imported goods.
If you’re a U.S.-based collector, please be aware this will affect the final cost of your order. I recommend checking with your local customs office for the most accurate information. Tariff is paid on both the cost of the goods and the cost of shipping, this must be paid at the time of purchase to avoid an $80.00 non payment of tariff fee on the US side. The fee has been placed by the US government, the UK has no control over the tariff.
Shipping to the USA 1st Oct. 2025 forward
To let the chaos clear in light of the new US tariff, I don’t anticipate sending to the USA until the start of 2026, if this changes, I’ll include an announcement on my news page and reinstate US postage rates in checkout.
Delivery Delays & Customs
I do my best to get your parcel on its way promptly, but delivery times—especially during peak seasons, winter weather, or customs delays—are beyond my control. Customs clearance times vary by country and may affect your delivery.
Packaging & Damage Claims
Each piece is carefully packed to protect its delicate details. Once your parcel is handed over to Royal Mail, I’m no longer responsible for damage in transit. However, I’ll gladly assist you in filing a claim if needed.
To help with this process, I recommend recording your unboxing. If everything arrives safely, you can simply delete the video—but if there’s an issue, it can be helpful for making a claim.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number. Please allow up to 48 business hours for tracking information to become available.
Return Policy
Every piece I create is one-of-a-kind, and I hope it brings you joy for years to come. Because my work is considered custom-made under UK law, it doesn’t fall under the standard 14-day return policy for mass-produced goods.
1. One-of-a-Kind Artwork
All Miniature Mirth pieces are handcrafted and unique. As such, they are classified as “custom orders” and are not eligible for return or refund due to change of mind or personal preference.
2. Exceptions to the No-Refund Policy
Damaged or Defective Items If your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 5 days of delivery. To help with claims, attach a short video of the unboxing and clear photos of the damage. I’ll assist you in arranging a return or replacement.
Wrong or Misleading Descriptions If your miniature doesn’t match the description or photos on the website, please get in touch within 5 days of receipt so we can discuss a solution.
3. Cooling-Off Period
Under UK law, most online purchases are covered by a 14-day cooling-off period. However, this does not apply to custom-made items like miniature art—unless the item is faulty or described inaccurately.
